Parella in Copenhagen for the 3daysofdesign 2025: KEEP IT REAL

As he does every year, Parella traveled to Copenhagen for 3 Daysofdesign, a must-attend event in the European design scene.

The 2025 edition, held under the evocative theme “Keep It ,” infused the Danish capital with a special energy. It was an invitation to return to the essentials, to reaffirm authenticity in a world saturated with stimuli, and to envision a design that is more human, more emotional, and more vibrant.

Parella looks back on its favourites and discoveries

For three days, the city was transformed into a veritable sensory laboratory.

Through eight themed districts, we discovered a creative scene in full mutation, where each space told a story, aroused an emotion, awakened the senses.

Design, more than ever, is becoming narrative, organic, immersive. It's not just something to look at, it's something to experience.

Among the striking discoveries at this year's show were a number of deeply inspiring installations.

At Muuto, a sculptural vase oscillated between gallery piece and domestic object, in a suspended plant setting conceived as a sound garden.

FRAMAoffered a staged apartment with a warm, intimate ambience, in total contrast to the bold, color-block desks designed by Montana Furniture.

Ronan Bouroullec's luminous, sensitive designs for Flos echoed Nada Duele's tactilely delicate ceramic pieces.

A matt polypropylene chair by Ondarreta gave vintage furniture a new lease of life, while Arturel's acoustic panels played the functional sculpture card.

At New Mags, the selection of books was as thought-provoking as it was dreamlike, while the dreamlike world of Helle Mardahl Studios dreamlike world of blown glass and soft pastels.

And, of course, the big names in Scandinavian design, Bolia, Ferm Living, &Tradition, Carl Hansen & Søncontinued to demonstrate that precision, simplicity and mastery of materials remain powerful and inspiring pillars.

Beyond trends...

This Danish immersion reinforced our conviction that design is much more than a visual language. It's a way of relating to the world, of inhabiting spaces differently, with attention, emotion and sincerity. Being real also means daring to design places that respect human rhythms, that encourage connection, that make people want to linger.

At Parella, these experiences feed our practice. By exploring the European creative scene - from Milan to Paris, via Copenhagen - we stay in direct touch with emerging movements, sensitive innovations and new ways of thinking about workspace.

We believe in design that makes sense. In spaces that tell stories, that bring people together, that engage. And above all, to work environments that truly resemble the people who inhabit them.
