The goal:
To support the Ombudsman Metropool Amsterdam—an independent institution acting as a trusted third party between citizens and government agencies—in a strategic relocation aimed at aligning its workspaces with the evolving nature of its missions and teams.
In a challenging real estate market, at the heart of a dense and demanding downtown area, the project involves identifying and designing a work environment that is functional, accessible, and reflective of its institutional role.
Located in the Stadhouderskade – The Collection neighborhood, near the Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein, the future site is situated in a central and vibrant setting. The recently renovated building offers high standards of comfort, flexibility, and performance.
Beyond the choice of real estate, the challenge is to turn this move into a strategic lever by designing a workspace that aligns with the institution’s organizational challenges, uses, and ambitions.
