ZURICH
LIGHTSPRAY™ FACTORY INAUGURATION

The goal: To design and deliver a state-of-the-art working and testing environment at On Running's Zurich headquarters, incorporating the very first LightSpray™ Factory.
A project that combines technological innovation, sustainability, design excellence and ambitious deadlines.

Our missions and ambitions.

- Realization of a hybrid project: office space (16 workstations, meeting rooms, kitchenette) and a highly technical test laboratory, equipped with robust benches and complex M&E installations.

- Close collaboration with On's technical engineer to integrate electrical, structural and ergonomic constraints right from the design stage.

- Real-time adaptation to architectural requirements: clarification of finishes, fast-tracking of long-delay elements, value engineering to simplify joinery while respecting the design vision

- Ongoing coordination with On's internal teams, architects, engineers and external suppliers, through weekly meetings, site visits and walk-throughs

- Managing the constraints of a multi-tenant building (noise, traffic, neighborhood) with fluid communication and digital tools (Procore, OpenSpace, Company Cam).

- Securing critical supplies through local sourcing (lighting, joinery) and managing lead times for specific elements (glass partitions, access control)

- Delivery in May 2025, despite supply chain and design evolution challenges, with immediate occupancy made possible by proactive management of finishing and rework.

- The result combines workstations, collaborative spaces and a state-of-the-art laboratory, reflecting On's innovative culture and showcasing Swiss engineering.
